The Chapel of the Archbishopric of Ravenna is a chapel located on the first floor of the Archbishop's Palace (now the Archbishop's Museum). Unique nature monument of the Orthodox to be built during the reign of Theodoric, the Archbishop's Chapel, also known as the Chapel of St. Andrew, is the ancient oratory Episcopio Ravenna, built by Bishop Peter II and dedicated to St. Peter Chrysologus Archbishop of Ravenna from 433 to 450. The chapel was set up in 495.

The Archbishop's Chapel shows a cross-shaped plan, with a full marble vestibule at the bottom and rich mosaic of extraordinary uniqueness in higher education. The message is very clear anti-Aryan content atrium mosaic work, representing the Warrior Christ in the act of crushing the beasts of heresy, the indictment against the then dominant political government of Theodoric. The vaults are great the images of the four archangels of the most ancient biblical tradition - Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel - bringing Christ to heaven, in the words of the four evangelists represented with books of their Gospels (to emphasize that the true faith Christian and Catholic). In the secondary arches on the sides, we can see two processions of six saints (right) and six saints (left) the age of martyrs, additional message that highlights the orthodox nature of this important monument.
