City of Ravenna

Ravenna (Raven in the Romagnolo dialect) is a city in Emilia-Romagna region of 157,479 inhabitants, capital of the province, the city's largest and historically most important of the Romagna.

His territory is the second extension in Italy, exceeded only by that of Rome, and employs over one third of the province. Despite the city center is about 8 km from the urban offshoots face directly with the Adriatic resort of Marina di Ravenna, Punta Marina Terme, Lido Adriano, Lido di Savio, Lido di Classe and Lido di Dante.

Ravenna was the capital three times:
