Latina is an Italian town of 118,946 inhabitants in the capital of the province Lazio. Founded June 30, 1932, is one of the youngest Italian cities. He was initially given the name of Littoria, assuming its present name only after the end of the fascist dictatorship.
Geography

Latin America is in the heart of the Pontine, in an area largely flat. The city is located a few kilometers from the Tyrrhenian Sea and the mountains of the Lepine Mountains.
The municipal territory, among the largest of Lazio, also includes numerous "villages of Trustees," centers created during the reclamation of the marshes, which once covered it. A part of its territory is part of the protected areas of the Circeo National Park, which constitutes the northern extremity.
