City of Viterbo

Viterbo is a city of 63,005 inhabitants of northern Lazio (February 2010), located on the lower slopes of the Monti Cimini and stretched west to the Maremma plain. Capital of the province, established in 1927 and known as the Tuscia, the city has a large center of medieval walled, surrounded by modern suburbs, except in the southwest, home to archaeological sites and hot springs (Necropolis Castel d'Asso, the source of ullicame).
