Savona

Savona (Savona, Liguria in Sann-a) is an Italian city of 62,494 inhabitants located in the northwest of the peninsula, the capital of the homonymous province, is the third most populated town in Liguria, preceded only by the region's capital and the capital of Genoa Province La Spezia. His area conurbation, including the municipalities of Marina Albissola, Albisola, Quiliano and Vado Ligure, has 94,100 inhabitants, while the entire area of Savona, Varazze from Bergeggi and its hinterland, the nearly 115,000 residents.
Savona is the reference point for people wishing to go to the Riviera or the hinterland. The capital of Savona also functions as a central hub for bus and rail links to the French border, not far, and the Cote d'Azur Airport Nice-Côte d'Azur. It is also a major cruise port.
