Ricette tipiche - Emilia-Romagna

Lasagne alla Bolognese

The lasagna is a typical Italian dish, mainly in Emilia-Romagna. They are also cooked in all of central Italy. It is widespread throughout the country and known throughout the world. It is prepared by compounding, in a pan, a large number of layers of boiled lasagna, alternating layers of condiments, all go in the oven for final baking or gratin likely to blend the flavors.

The most common and simple recipe provides as a condiment with meat sauce, béchamel and Parmigiano-Reggiano. In recent times it has been introduced the use of mozzarella and often, instead of the normal egg pasta, using green lasagna prepared by the addition of spinach.

Rather than spread to the white versions, with mushroom-based sauces.

Infinite variations both in its name in the recipe, not only from region to region, but also from country to country and even from family to family.
